Advent Children.net or any of our staff do not support under any circumstances, illegal downloading of the movie and related releases. This includes, but is not limited to [in full or in part] the original movie or any variation such as the 25 minute preview, director's commentary [if available], special features and features available only through the Ultimate Edition [including Last Order]. This also includes, but is not limited to downloading through torrents, FTP or any other file sharing methods; and includes both fan-subbed and non-subbed versions of the movie.

As a true fan of Advent Children, you would realize that Square-Enix have put countless resources and money into this project. Like any movie or game, one must respect the work of the creators and developers of the film. If it were not for Square-Enix, Advent Children would not exist. Distributing a movie over the internet is illegal and takes away from the original copyright holder [in this case Square-Enix]. They work hard to develop the movie to make it the best it can be, so please do not support piracy. If you truly support Advent Children, you will purchase your own copy of the DVD or UMD. We understand that in some countries the movie may be released later than others, in which case please be patient. If you don't wish to spoil the movie for yourself, we recommend keeping away from any AC information sections of the site and forums.

Despite this we know that not all of you who are purchasing AC from Japan have a perfect understanding of the Japanese language. And we still want you to be able to enjoy Advent Children. In light of this, some of our Staff will be working on a written translation of AC and the other included media (such as Last Order, and FFVII Digest) that will be posted EXCLUSIVELY on Advent Children.net and Japankore.net. This will be strictly enforced on our forums. Any member found to be posting or asking for a link to an illegal download of the movie will be issued 15 warning points for their first offense. For repeat offenses or someone found spamming the forum with such links, a permanent ban will be issued. Even if someone has been a longtime member of the forums, this will not be tolerated under any circumstance. This is a zero tolerance policy. Furthermore any links to such will be promptly removed and any topics requesting such will be closed and/or removed. Our forum staff will be on sharp lookout for such violations.
