A rookie Turk, she was promoted to join her seniors when Reno was injured during
the plan to destroy Sector 7. A bit light-headed, with the tendency to reveal core
information to the enemy, Elena was nevertheless extremely loyal to her boss and
focused on carrying out her duty as a Turk. She harbored feelings for Tseng, and
took his injury at Sephiroth's hands extremely personally.
She accompanied Tseng to investigate the Northern Crater after FFVII, only to be
defeated, caught and tortured by Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz. She made her return to back
Rufus up after the latter's showdown with Kadaj.
